Looking out onto a vast coastline from the southern shore of the lake, Cabras represents an ancient village best known for its rare historical finds that date as far back as the Neolithic times. Its white-sand beaches, turquoise sea, and delicious seafood attract crowds of beachgoers, but tourism in Cabras mostly thrives thanks to the town's archaeology museum, home to colossal sandstone sculptures from the 8th century BCE, a symbol of Sardinia's identity.
