  • I was with my boyfriend in early September. Initially we were hesitant reading reviews of how crazy it was and to the limit this trek. Trained people who called it exaggerated. Well we are trained and it is true, but calmly it is doable by anyone. Cell phone doesn't pick up in that area. We took about 3 hours both on the way and on the way back taking it easy, admiring the scenery and stopping for photos and a snack. TIP: Bring plenty of water and also food. The trail is all exposed to the sun, so start early so you can at least make the ascent with the shade, and bring something to shelter from the sun if you are sensitive, the beach is all in the sun in the afternoon. DON'T GO TO BOAT!!!! do it I'm effortless and walk there, it will be a nice challenging trek with ocean views worth seeing, and once the beach opens wild in front of you it will be worth it. It's a place out of wonderful time. Don't be scared!!

  • Reading the previous reviews we had prepared for the worst, people who felt well trained it took 3 hours to get to the beach and 3 hours to get back, my friends and I took 1h. 15 at the first and 1 h. 20 on the way back. In my opinion, going more than quiet takes a maximum of 2 hours. I wonder how a "well-trained" one can matter e 3? Closed this parenthesis, spectacular beach, route to get there wild and quaint. I recommend bringing camera, lots of water and sunscreen. The phone doesn't pick up. From Las Palmas it takes about 1h.30 by car to get to Tartico, from where the trail starts.

  • Absolutely marvelous place! We enjoyed the walk to there as well, and since it was a weekday there almost weren't any other people at the beach. It is a place that is untouched by humans, where you can be alone with yourself and the nature. Definitely one of the best places to visit on the island.
  • Not been there. But would visit the next time
