Since 1859, our brick and beam distillery has been a hub of entrepreneurial commerce and prolific thinking.
From the inventions of Silas S. Putnam to the world famous yachts made by George Lawley & Sons Shipyard and the icy flavors created by the Seymour family, 12R Ericsson Street has been an integral part of Boston's rich and innovative history.
We are proud to carry on this legacy with our redefinition of American spirits.

I've been a fan of BHD since they first opened! From even before they had a bar, they had some great liquor to grab and bring home. Their maple cream liqueur is by far the best cream liqueur I've... more »
We went to Boston harbor distillery for a 30th birthday and everything was perfect. Laura was great to work with on the booking process and their staff on site were incredible. Our tour guide corralled our group of 30 and the tasting was fun and informative and she made sure we all had a great experience. I’m so happy we found this place- it is GORGEOUS inside and everyone left raving about how fun it was. Definitely recommended, it’s a perfect venue to birthdays, showers, and any other celebration!
I hosted a "law prom" at the Boston Harbor Distillery in May. The event space is beautiful for a private, intimate event. There was a lounge area for people to relax and plenty of places to hang around the open dance floor. Laura is absolutely amazing to work with too! She made it seamless and organized that I barely had to do anything the day of the event. What is great about the space is you can bring in food trucks or whatever catering you may like. This made it fun for the guests to drink amazing, local drinks from the Distillery and eat from Boston's finest food trucks. I would highly suggest this space if you are hosting an event whether it be something like "law prom" or a wedding or a corporate event. Take it from me who is in the event planning and coordinating business, this is a seamless operation at the Boston Harbor Distillery and provides a unique, gorgeous space to host an event.
