7 Grand, Los Angeles

3.8
In 2007, Seven Grand made its debut as a part of 213 Hospitality, and to many, signaled the rebirth of great cocktails in Los Angeles. In 2012, the second location of Seven Grand opened in San Diego’s North Park neighborhood. In early 2014, tucked behind Seven Grand DTLA, Bar Jackalope, an eighteen-seat Japanese whiskey bar, opened to immediate acclaim; the intimate bar boasts over 120 varieties of whiskeys, including rare international and domestic varieties. In 2017, the third Seven Grand location opened in Austin, Texas.

  • If you enjoy whiskey, this place is a must visit! The choices of whiskey seems endless as you flip through the pages of their whiskey "bible". The staff is friendly and very knowledgeable.  more »

  • We loved the atmosphere here! It is a cool blend of old historic looking building and urban graffiti and art. We enjoyed cocktails and a couple of appetizers including the tuna poke with pomegranate seeds in my attached picture, and everything was delicious. I'm not sure if it's always like this, but we had to order at the bar. They would bring your order to you, but there wasn't traditional table service on the bar side (there is a restaurant upstairs). Will definitely be back.
  • If you ever want variety in whiskey this is your place to go. The drinks are a decent price and delicious. The crowd did start packing in at around 11 though on the night I went so getting there early does help to get a spot to sit and play some pool. Once it's packed good luck grabbing a seat and the pool tables are just in the way since you can hardly walk around them. Still a great spot for a good drink and a meeting place as everyone gets downtown.
