Studio City Farmers Market, Los Angeles

4.8
Experience the healthy alternative by shopping at Studio City Farmers Market, a market dedicated to locally grown products and artisan foods and crafts. Visit the market on Sundays (mornings to mid-afternoon) to choose from among grass-fed beef, fresh seafood, and vegetables. Artists often make exhibitions out of breads, honey, and oils, so feel free to explore and taste their products. Check out pony rides, a petting zoo, and a train ride for children. After browsing, you can sample your purchased goods on the spot at tables on the lawn next to the market. • I love Farmers Markets in general. What I especially liked about this one was that it was geared to please everyone. They even had a few rides and bounce houses for kids (paid, of course, but still.). Also, I don't think you can find fresher fruit than in a California farmers market. I only wish I'd visited earlier in my stay. It was the day before we were flying out so I wasn't able to take full advantage of all the goodies they had to offer. Great breads, fruits, jams & jellies, fruit juices and horchata. Cheeses, fresh creamery butter. My mouth is watering as I type.
  • Fun, quaint, cute and thoroughly enjoyable! All the great farmers market fare: fruit, flowers, coffee, meats, cheeses, live music, face painting for the kids and even a bounce house!
