Get a close-up view of recovering animals at Limbe Wildlife Centre, a sanctuary for orphaned primates. See western gorillas and chimps, mandrills, olive baboons, red-capped mangabeys, guenons, and vervet monkeys amidst a total of some 200 animals kept in large enclosures. Founded in 1993 as a sanctuary for rescued chimps, the center soon expanded to include other primates, as well as reptiles and birds across its grounds of man-made ponds and lush greenery. An education center within the sanctuary gives frequent lectures to groups of children and students. • the environment is serene. Chimpanzees, monkeys and mandrills are the main animals there. There are also artifacts which you could get. Taking pictures aren't restricted and the entrance fee is 500frs. So I'll give it an overall 8/10
  • It is one of the oldest botanical gardens in Cameroon and perhaps west Africa, with rare Silverback gorillas
