One of the oldest parks in the city, Kaivopuisto features hiking trails and vast green lawns, as well as recreational complexes and cafes. Stretching across 45 hectares (111 acres), the park sits between the urban zone and the open sea. As you walk along its numerous paths, you'll encounter art in unexpected places. Some trees contain extremely detailed carved faces, while colorful wooden birds adorn tall poles. Big park by a side near the embassies area and in the opposite side finish to the south coast where you can stop there to enjoy some kioski along the coast. Park have a nice and new dog area and on the hill (where is situate a telescope tower) you can lost breath to admire a beautiful panorama.

Beautiful park to enjoy the sunset. You get great views of the city, the harbor and the surrounding islands. It's pretty popular with photographers as well. You get a good view of the Suomenlinna islands.
