  • Plan before you go for the trip. Bus from Aomori allows you to stop at your prefered place so that you can hike up the stream. If you do not own a JR pass, it will be wise to buy the 5000yen pass...

  • One of the most beautiful places I’ve visited. Lush green gorge in the summer with scenic waterfalls and a stream running throughout. Winter is just as awesome. Tranquil walking path makes for easy access. Don’t miss it! 👍
  • One (if not the most)of the most beautiful places I have ever been. I went here multiple times as a kid (in the 90s) and I still have vivid memories of how beautiful it was. Being a kid I wasn’t very interested in scenery, so the fact that I can still remember how beautiful it was goes to show this place is a MUST! Beautiful memories to last a lifetime!
