Falling more than 46 m (150 ft), Manoa Falls sparkles against a sheer rock face. Take a 2.4 km (1.5 mi) hike through tall trees with twisted trunks and thick greenery to reach the falls. The pathway is often slippery, so wear shoes with a good grip. Then be prepared to take these shoes off to wade in the shallow pool at the base of the waterfall. Our Honolulu trip planning site makes visiting Manoa Falls and other Honolulu attractions simple, and helps you make a travel plan personal to you.

  • Decent little hike. It is only like 1.8 miles round trip. A little muddy and some steep parts but not bad. The water fall was a little small and disappointing but the pool at the bottom was cool to sit in.
  • Gorgeous views through the entire trek up the mountain to see the waterfall. Would do it again. Be prepared for lots of mud on your shoes and some slippery slopes that you can tell they try to maintain.
