The most iconic free show in Las Vegas since 1989. Arrive at least 30-45 minutes before the earlier shows if you want to be on the fence otherwise there will be layers of spectators. Showtimes are 8p, 9p, 10p and 11p. The spectacular production lasts about 5 minutes and you can even feel the heat from the volcano from across the water. I know that Vegas recreates itself to stay fresh and new but it’s going to sting a little when this quintessential landmark is no more.

We stayed at the mirage in Las Vegas where the volcano is located. It was really cool to see the show. Loud and spectacular! The fire was amazing and warm when you are standing close by, which was nice because it was a cold night in February. We had a great time!
