Fantastic destination for tourists to see some Hollywood history and even better for locals to hang out and catch one of the many events held here. It is a nice walk with plenty to look at besides the uniquely creative gravesites and tombs and headstones. This cemetery has no restrictions when it comes to decorating your plot-so there are quite a few... conversation starters, shall we say. The park is well-maintained, both by staff and the families who care for their loved ones' place of eternal rest. The whole experience is breathtaking from entrance to exit. Make sure to look out as you leave the grounds and you can see the Hollywood sign ahead of you. I have plans to catch a movie here, and I simply must find the concrete couch surrounded by weenie dogs for a fabulous picture 📸

Really love this beautiful cemetery. They take great care of it. Security at the front was super helpful & kind when we asked questions. It’s free to walk the grounds, but they do charge for a tour. The only thing I didn’t care to witness were the workers who drive around on the grounds, driving right over the flat headstones. This seemed super disrespectful to me as they could easily navigate around them.
