  • Today was my first time visiting Cheri and Gonzalo’s 28 year, and counting, labor of love and I’m glad I finally was able to see it up close. I have been driving by it for years so I was very pleased to learn they offer self guided tours of the grounds for $20. Cheri greeted us at the front gate and was very polite and informative. She gave us a rundown of the history of the property and specific things to look out for. It was also nice seeing their own works of art in the studios in the back of the house. It’s definitely a unique location and worth the trip to see something that took so much time, effort, and love to create.
  • Wow!!!! I drove an hour and 49 minutes to the mosaic tile house in Venice today! It was well worth the trip! it was a beautiful day, dragonflies and humming birds were buzzing around and there were a lot of us walking around the grounds. The whole yard and house are part of the works of art. There are very vibrant colored tiles, melted bottles, flattened beer cans, home made tiles, store bought tiles and a wide array of colored grouts go into these many mosaics. The artists also incorporated wrought iron and acrylic paints. it will set you back $20.00 but it is well worth it!
