Designed by famed architect Frank Lloyd Wright, the building housing Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum is as much a tourist draw as the collection of modern art located inside it. Named after and founded upon the private collection of its founder, the museum holds notable works by Picasso, van Gogh, Monet, Gauguin, and other modern masters. The building's spiral design recalls a nautilus shell, featuring continuous spaces that flow freely into one another. Wright ascribed symbolic meaning to the building's shapes, comparing its geometric forms to the ideas of infinity, unity, progress, and integrity. Beautiful museum. Drawing the line between old-fashioned and modern days art. Beautiful sketches and marvelous tech are embedded in each other. Enjoyed my time here and yet didn't even get to witness all of the exhibits. Would love to jump by this magnificent place again sometime soon. Thanks for the experience

My best friend took me to my first Art Museum, as an Artist myself I was honored to walk this building. Incredibly sincere collections, you can really take your time here. I was so surprised when we went in and saw Masters works, I was moved to tears by some of my most favorite paintings, to stand before them gave me chicken skin. Thank you to all those working hard to maintain and keep such an outstanding collection. The NYC artists were just as fabulous and breathtaking! I feel so lucky to have gone!
