  • This is a gem of store. It is also huge and you can easily become overwhelmed looking for anything specific. It is best to take your time and wander down the areas that interest you and see what...

  • We could have easily spent several hours browsing if we weren’t already tired at the end of a long cold day. Staff was friendly and helpful, selection was great. Would be great if they added some...

  • Fun bookstore! I found a great vegetarian cookbook as well as a couple of postcards to send back home. Employees all seemed to be enjoying themselves while checking everyone out. Lines moved quickly. All three floors are well stocked. I'd recommend you drop in and check it out!
  • Great (huge!) Indie bookstore to check out if you’re by Union Square! They have four floors (with an easily accessible elevator!) of selections and also have many items beyond books (mugs, socks, tote bags, cards & stationary, pens, stickers, pins, etc). The only thing that would improve Strand is if they had more than one bench for customers to make themselves comfortable and read as they peruse their options. Highly recommend!
