  • They are open Wed -Sat... Maybe Sun? However, I was here 5 years ago and finally returned more excited as I've learned so much more about Teddy. Even with that... I was blown away with the private 1 on 1 tour (it's not a crowded/busy place) for about 30 minutes. I learned more than the first time, plus being a history buff, specifically with Teddy, I was amazed at some of the details told to me I didn't know. Great job by the NPS fella working there.
  • Cool museum of Teddy Roosevelt's childhood Manhattan home. I didn't take the tour (which was free, and highly recommended). There are some artifacts, photos, videos on the first floor. Worth a little side trip. Probably would take 30 minutes to see everything.
