Known for its large retail store and picnic area, V. Sattui Winery produces over 60 wines from 20 varieties of grapes. During your visit, you will be presented with wines to taste, as well as with pates and deli-style offerings. Tasting takes place in a wine room with wooden cabinets and extravagant wine-handling tools. The picnic grounds sit near giant oak and walnut trees and feature a barbecue, pizza, and mozzarella bar. If you're hungry, be prepared to purchase wines and delicacies on-site, as outside food and drink is not allowed. Our wine dealer Julie is amazing. She told us a lot about the wines we tasted, the flavor profiles, and the history behind some of them! The wine is fantastic! We liked all of the ones we've tried. My favorite is the Madeira. The grounds are amazing, there's so much to look at! Great shaded areas to picnic from the cafe and drink wine. Highly recommend going here! The price was great for the quality.

Did an impromptu picnic lunch and bought a bottle of wine, a sandwich, cheese and Crackers. Ate under the shaded picnic area. The weather was perfect! A very pleasant experience. I love their wines and a big selection of food. I Will definitely go back again and again.
